Samsung has established the Phablet Family and continues to control that mobile space around the world. Their Galaxy Note 3 has grabbed a lot of attention around the world and has established itself as the one to follow. When matched with the recent Galaxy Gear, Samsung has provided new ways for utilizing mobile technology to benefit consumers. Though the Galaxy Gear is a little pricey. They have now continued those traditions in announcing the next version in the Galaxy Grand family, the Galaxy Grand 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 was announced on November 25, 2013 with a lot of interest from various parts of the world. This brings to the middle tier a phone that has many great features as the Galaxy Note 3, but should be at a price less than the Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Grand 2 will not be coming with any 4G capabilities, but that does not change the target audience for this phone. This will be popular in Europe and Asia and there is already interested being expressed as people try and find pricing along with availability dates for the Galaxy Grand 2.
From the Samsung Mobile Press, here are some of the features you will get with the phone.
The Galaxy Grand 2 does support Bluetooth 4.0, so if you are looking to pair this up with the Galaxy Gear, you have that option. And with it coming with Android 4.3, you are up to date with the latest version. We do expect to see KitKat, Android 4.4, being provided by the middle of 2014 to keep this latest phablet from Samsung with the latest OS.
It looks like the Galaxy Grand 2 for India is coming to the Home Shop 18 network the 3rd week of December. That is less than 2 weeks away and there are many in INdia trying to find out the price being charged. There are no prices listed by Samsung, so you can only guess as to the price that will be charged. But, we are confident that it will be less than the Galaxy Note 3. Watch for this phone to appear in Europe and Asia in the coming weeks.
