Waiting for arrival on other US wireless carriers.
During the past few months, news of the Galaxy S3 has been filling the web with information about the Galaxy S3. What the phone contains, when and where it was to be sold, differences between the International version as compared to the US version have been reported for the past month. Since we started getting dates for the release in the US, things have escalated. This was along with moving dates for the release dates between carriers. With all the changes in release dates, T-Mobile USA became the only US carrier to release the phone on June 21st. Since that time, things have turned too quiet and could make one be concerned.
With all the promotion and hype for the Galaxy S3, to now have no news being reported is strange. We should be hearing about AT&T and Sprint pre-orders beginning to be shipped out. But there has been nothing coming out. We are hearing of few emails being received notifying those who have pre-ordered the Galaxy S3 with a delivery notice. But there should be lots of them today. It is rather strange. We know that Verizon is not going to be delivering anything until after July 4th. So what is going on with the expected release of the phone at Sprint and AT&T this week?
Are we going to see shortages of the Galaxy S3? We already know that there are delays with AT&T, Sprint and Verizon for the delivery of pre-ordered Galaxy S3’s. We have not been hearing much about where things are at for the 32 GB version, but we do know that it is currently in short supply and we are hoping that Samsung can fill in the inventory shortages. If they cannot, things are going to get tough for Samsung for their flagship phone with potential customers complaining loudly.
We are days away from AT&T and Sprint releasing the Galaxy S3. That is unless they make another announcement about a delay.
