AT&T contract renews through Target get low price
The pre-orders for the popular Galaxy S3 here in the US are continuing with some wireless carriers moving to retail sales beginning on June 21st. We are very close to that date and are now starting to see competition for sales happening. Target and Amazon have both entered the pre-order business for AT&T Galaxy S3 phones. While that may not seem that unusual, they are doing so with aggressive pricing.
Target is the one to pay attention to as they have been moving further into becoming a mobile device provider with their “Target Mobile” division. Entering the pre-order market for the Galaxy S3, they are showing a price of $149.99 for a contract renewal with AT&T with the purchase of the Galaxy S3. For a new AT&T customer, they are showing a price of $189.99. These are good prices when you compare them to the AT&T web site where the price is $199.99.
If you are looking to purchase the Galaxy S3 with AT&T, this is the best way to go and purchase the phone through either Target Mobile or Amazon at the price of $149.99 (renewal) or $189.99 (new) at AT&T. For the Galaxy S3, you will not be getting the Dropbox free 50 GB cloud storage because Verizon and AT&T have chosen to not participate in that program. There is a charge for this which the carriers did not want to take on.
The other item to be aware of is that AT&T is only carrying the 16 GB version and does not have the 32 GB version. If you are interested in getting the Galaxy S3 at this price, you should jump on this right now. AT&T has announced they will begin shipping pre-orders for the Galaxy S3 starting on Monday, June 18th, so that everyone has it in their hands before it shows up in retail stores.
